Winnie the Pooh Party on a Beer Budget!

I can’t resist throwing in a beer budget birthday from time to time! I thought I would share some ideas from my daughter Maya’s first birthday! Enjoy!

I scanned a piece of scrapbook paper into my digital scrapbooking program to make this invite and then I had them printed for 10 cents each at Walgreens on photo paper.

Another shot of the Pin the Tail on Eeyore game!

I then made cake pops in the shape of honey pots. You can write HUNNY on them with an edible marker, mine didn’t work!

I baked the cake myself but found the cake pan on Craigslist for only $2! It didn’t take as long to pipe as I thought it would and I am not a superb piper!

My oldest daughter helped make this pinata using newspaper, flour, water and glue. She then painted it to complete the Hunny look. Cost: under $1!

Here’s a wider shot of the month by month pictures!

You can also find other great ideas on the Disney Family Winnie the Pooh Site. These didn’t exist when I was planning but I would have loved the favor bags!
